Types of techniques used in hair transplantation:

There are two natural hair transplant techniques, both aimed at treating baldness and hair loss and compensating the bald area with natural hair follicles from the donor area at the back of the head or at sides of the head.
The techniques differ in the way the follicles are collected and cultivated.

1-FUT-Follicular Unit Transfer- Hair transplant technique:
-It is the oldest technique in hair transplantation where the surgeon collects a slice of hair from the back of the head and then close the scalp cosmetically. It then divides the hair slice into follicles and preparing it for planting.
-finally planting the divided follicles in the channels that have been prepared in the scalp to receive the follicles.

2-FUE-Follicular Unit Extraction- Hair Transplant technique:
It is now the latest in hair transplantation, allowing many hair follicles to be transported at the same time without any effect on the scalp.

How is hair transplant done?

1-The hair donor area is sterilized and locally anesthesized.
2-The hair follicles are collected from the donor area either from the back of the head or its sides using custom sterilized tools.
3-Then preparing the receiving area and channels to receive the hair follicles using fine and thin needles, which is the longest stage, that lasts about 5 hours.
4-Finally, the hair follicles are transported and implanted in the prepared channels in the receiving area under the influence of the local anesthetic.
